 Zaina
On June 7, 1982 a beautiful warm summer's day, the makings of a star
was brought into the world. Zainab Agoro born in Chicago, Illinois to
Nigerian parents came in full force to take the world by storm. Zaina's
entry into the entertainment industry came naturally and almost easily.
Her striking face and tall slender frame made her stick out in every
setting.
She immediately attracted the likes of industry professionals and
scouts. She began her modeling career at the tender age of 6 posing and
smiling for any camera in site. By the age of 10 Zaina realized that
her passion wasn't so much in modeling but in music. She joined the
local choirs in her school in England and then came back to the US at
age 16 to further her experiences in music. An all around music lover
Zaina also took up the trumpet and tuba; she played in her school's
orchestra and jazz band for five years.
Even with so much talent and drive. An education came as a priority for
Zaina and her family, they decided it would be best to put all other
things on hold until she was matured and accomplished enough to handle
the industry. Now older, matured and well rounded, Zaina has begun her
journey into stardom. Currently working on her first album, Zaina has
had the privilege to work with artists such as Eldee also featured on
his album (return of the king), Keno, Del, Banky, Styls Plus, Zara,
Amplifyd, Lynxx, Sauce Kid, Naira, and many others.... She has graced
the same stage with the likes of D’Banj, Tuface, Eldee, Majek Fashek,
Nykita just to mention a few.
Zaina recently released her wave making music video for her first
single "Naughty Girl", which has already taken the local and
international screen by storm enjoying massive rotation during prime
time programs, while Clubs DJs and Radio DJs won’t stop listing
“Naughty Girl” on both their playlist and mix tapes. Zaina's upcoming
Album is projected to be a refreshing experience bridging the gap
between smooth African vibes and mainstream Neo-soul cum R&B/Pop.
It will be a must have to any collection of CD's. This beautiful,
